beginnings and endings.

For almost a year and a half, I've used as A Thousand Million Words as my personal blog//journal//etc. It's seen me through senior year of high school, my freshman year of college, and a trip through europe. looking back, its amazing to think of these times.

You may have noticed that I have been slacking in the last few months as a blogger, here, and for good reason-I've been busy building a new site, Little Blue Backpack, and I'm excited to say that, as of today, it has officially launched!

My reasons for moving are simple; this blog has always been a personal affair, a place for myself. However, I'm currently at a crossroads in my life-not sure what to study, where to go, what to do. I do know that I love travel, photography, design, and writing, though, and I'd like to make a name for myself. Writing a more focused, professional, and disiplined blog is a great way to express myself, while marketing myself. (and i know that those words sound grown up and dull, but this is the funnest way to do it!) I want somewhere I'd be proud to show my friends.  My new blog will focus mainly on travel and lifestyle, but will have bits and bobs of photography, style, and inspiration sprinkled through.

Before I go, I would just like to give a heartfelt thanks to all of my readers here at atmw. Thank you for sticking with me through the last year and a half-it means the world to me! You have absolutely no idea. And I would be incredibly, incredibly honored if you followed me over there.

adios, mis amores xx

these past few days.

I'm reminded every day that life is incredibly fragile, and there's no time to waste. So forgive easily, laugh often, do the things you love. Surround yourself with wonderful people who make your heart overfill with joy, regret nothing, carpe the crap outta diem. Don't be afraid to do stupid things (so long as its not too stupid...), make mistakes, keep a current passport. Read books and soak in the sun and take a gazillion pictures. Just....live.
